During this lovely winter season I was lucky enough to be invited to sing and entertain the wee ones at the Kids Market on Granville Island for the days that Santa is busy making sure his reindeer are ready for the big date. Here are just a few photos to show how its been going!

Sunday, December 2, 2012
Well, it seems as if forever since my last blog. I guess I kinda fell of the blogging train sometime in the summer but now it's time to get back on board! Choochoo!
So much has happened in the past few months including my big trip out east to Quebec and New York:
Apparently this is my statue of liberty face... |
Over looking Montreal... |
I've also been painting and balloon twisting all over the city. Kaboodles had their 1st birthday at their location on Cambie and 10th where I got to use my awesome neon paints on the staff. I was invited to paint once again this year at the Kids Market on Granville Island's birthday celebration in November, yay Kids Market.
Birthday parties rule!
October came and went with costumes galore. I helped make the costumes for Hugo and Claire (the kids that I nanny for) and once again did a few shifts at Just Imagine...Fun Clothing where I spent the hours helping people find their perfect Halloween attire, all the while keeping my eyes peeled for new things to add to my costume trunk.
My most recent exploit?
I got to meet the History Hunters when I did balloon at an event during Christmas on the drive. The History Hunters are a fantastic troupe of talented singers and musicians whose history themed songs had me laughing, clapping, and grooving along. They write great kids music, that can be enjoyed by all (now if I could only find a way to make it down to Denver to see their off Broadway show...).Here are some photos from the event- and thanks to Mama Llama for letting me be a part of it!
Cheerio for now-until next time,
Stay tuned for news on my Christmas debut at the Kids Market!

Greek Day 2012
Amazing Clone Trooper by Nicholas |
Another Greek day come and gone, and I'm already excitedly awaiting next years festivities and food consumption. The day was busy as usual (we made sure to get our food tickets early for quick eating between face paint customers) and we did some magnificent painting, thanks in no small part to the wonderful skill of Nicholas Frenette, face painter extraordinaire. The most requested designs of the day? Unicorns, butterflies and ice cream cones.

I felt very at home positioned out front of Just Imagine, my old haunt, and it was very hard not to buy a bunch of new costumes, I can tell ya (I managed to get away with just buying some new paints). The staff were awesome, all with their makeup done as greek godesses.
We also got to try out their new neon paints from WolfeFX. They went on fantastic, easily washable, and I used them profusely throughout the day.
Thanks Just Imagine for having us, looking forward to next year!

PS. This may have been some of the best painting I've done all year, but my favorite part of the day was still my cheese filo. MMmmmm.....filo....
Fiesta Day Parade 2012
Butterfly by me |
This past Saturday was spent facepainting at the Fiesta Day
Parade in Point Grey. I got to try out some new designs, and paint with
Josie, the newest Party Kid! They were passing out balloons, and had a
craft table for all the passers by. We were glad to be a part of the
fun! Thanks to Kaboodles for having us, it was a blast.
