Thanks to Kaboodles toy store for having me face paint during the Fiesta Day parade! The families on 10th are always so enthusiastic and lovely, I had a great time. The general consensus among the kids was that the best part of the parade is when those in the marching ensemble 'throw stuff' to the bystanders. I could not agree more, it breaks the fourth wall and makes those standing on the side walk feel as if they too are a part of the pizazz.
I will admit though, it is hard to paint a kids face while all they want to do is turn around and look at the passing police cars, baton twirlers, and decorated vehicles. But, as often happens, the kids' love of face painting helped them maintain their resolve to stay still. Good job guys!
